Amitabh Bachchan turned 70 now. The living legend had the most lavish birthday celebration in recent history, on Wednesday, with all the biggies from the film industry in full attendance at the bash.
From stars like Dilip Kumar, Yash Chopra, Shahukh Khan to southern superstar Rajinikanth and high profile politicians like Praful Patel attended the party to bring in Amitabh Bachchan's 70th birthday.
It is heard that a total of 800 guests flocked the birthday bash at the Reliance Media Work, Film City, Goregaon.
Amitabh Bachchan's entire family was in full attendance. The superstar walked the red carpet with live orchestra playing hit numbers from his films.
He along with his gorgeous daughter-in-law, thanked the film family. Ash said, "We are so happy that we are all here today celebrating his birthday. Thank you so much."
Stars including Hema Malini, Saira Banu, Waheeda Rehman, Vinod Khanna, Prem Chopra, Kader Khan, Pran, Zeenat Aman, Jeetendra, Neetu Singh, Rishi Kapoor, and Asha Parekh were present too. Shashi Kumar was wheeled in to join the bash.
Abhishek Bachchan with his lovely wife Aishwarya Rai played a perfect host to all the guests. They even escorted 89-year old legend Dilip Kumar inside the venue.
Baby Aaradhya was was also seen enjoying her dada's birthday.
From the youngsters, stars like Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, Anurag Kashyap and his wife Kalki Koechlin, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, John Abraham and Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Madhuri Dixit with her husband Sriram Nene, Mahima Chaudhary, Abbas Mastan, Sudhir Mishra, Anil Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Alka Yagnik, Boman Irani, R Madhavan, Ameesha Patel, Ajay Devgn-Kajol, Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Gowariker, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Vipul Shah, Rana Daggubati and Urmila Matondkar, came to wish Big B.
From down south, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Ram Charan Teja were present among others.
The political biggies included Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav gathered here to wish Big B.
