The first look of the much expected Ranveer Singh – Arjun Kapoor starrer, Gunday is finally out.
The film's poster shows the two lead actors dressed as two small time thieves looking across the Howrah Bridge towards the sunrise. The ambitious project, set in Kolkata (then Calcutta), is a period movie, that dwells on the mafia issue faced by the city in the 70s. The story is about how Bikram and Bala, two inseparable friends become the biggest and the most influential mafia men. With a tagline – 'Humaare Tevar Alag Hain', the teaser promises something new. Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan are also part of this much expected movie.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, whose earlier directorial venture, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan was successful, and being produced by Aditya Chopra the movie is set to be one of the biggest releases in the coming year.
The movie which is scheduled for a late 2013 release started its first shooting schedule in Mumbai this week.
In the meantime, Arjun Kapoor who is riding high on his successful debut, Ishaqzadee, which released previously this year, revealed that Gunday was one of his most thrilling projects in hand. His other projects include Aurangazeb and 2 States.
