The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to the Late Yash Raj Chopra for his outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema as director, producer and script writer. One's of his films' leading lady, Madhuri Dixit presented this prestigious award to his wife Pamela Chopra.
The 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012 will be telecast exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television.
Kapoor's thanksgiving speech was also one of the highlights of the evening, when he delivered it through expressions instead of using the mike, emulating his mute character in 'Barfi'.
