Emraan hashmi is looking forward to his forthcoming film Ek Thi Daayan. The actor who is know for his serial kisser image has now, romanced a Daayan as well. The actor who isn't bothered about his on-screen status cracks jokes about being cast opposite a witch in his upcoming movie Ek Thi Daayan.

Emraan who is one of the most successful actors in the industry today, told, "This was the only thing left for me to romance – a 'daayan'. This movie fulfilled that also. Now all that is left is to romance mid-air."

Tight leather pants and shiny dresses - the 1980s era saw it all. Now, new age actress Sonakshi Sinha is taking cue from actresses like Sridevi and Parveen Babi for a retro disco number that she has shot for the "Himmatwala" remake.

The number, choreographed by Chinni Prakash, is called "Thank god it's Friday".

The film's director, Sajid Khan, wanted to give Sonakshi the look of Sridevi and Parveen Babi. He roped in designer Manish Malhotra and Sonakshi, who admits working hard for the song, is happy with the result.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has won the title of India's Prime Icon.

Big B was crowned Thursday by Big CBS Prime's show "India's Prime Icon", where he was competing along with actors Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, A.R. Rahman, and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, among others.

Amitabh was felicitated by actresses Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma.

Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul's book "Headley And I", about the latter's companionship with 26/11 conspirator David Headley, will is to be made into a film. Producer Sunil Bohra has bought the rights of the book.

Rahul co-authored the book with Hussain Zaidi and it puts light on Rahul's disturbed relationship with his father and how Headley filled that vacuum for a while.

Himmatwala is an forthcoming Bollywood action romance movie directed by Sajid Khan and jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani.

The movie features superstar Ajay Devgn opposite Tamannaah in the lead roles. It is an authorized remake of the 1983 blockbuster of the same name which itself was a remake of a Telugu movie Ooriki Monagadu of 1981. The first promo of the film released online on 24 January.

The Femina Miss India 2013 calendar was launched in Goa. The calendar was together unveiled by Marc Robinson, Rochelle Rao, David D' Souza and Ricardo D'Souza, Vanya Mishra and PFMI 2012 finalist Nikita Dutta. The calendar has been shot by ace lensman Jatin Kampani. The models were styled by well known designer Gavin C. Miguel while the hair and make up for them was done by Venus. The smoldering calendar has been shot at Carnoustie Resort in Kochi - Kerala. According to Marc Robinson, Creative director Femina Miss India, apart from the 3 PFMI 2012 winners, the calendar also features 2 PFMI finalists.

Deepika Padukone tells she is satisfied doing the film Cocktail this year. However, she wishes she was a part of Rockstar.

"I am more than happy I was part of Cocktail. It was the most satisfying experience to do the film. The audience really appreciated me a lot in Cocktail," Deepika told.

"So this year, I am extremely happy about Cocktail and have no regrets. But if you ask me about last year, then yes, I would say, I wish I was part of Rockstar."

Mallika Sherawat who is presently enjoying all the limelight in Hollywood plans to come back to India pretty soon. The actress says that she is still in touch with Jackie Chan, whom she starred opposite in the Hollywood film The Myth.

Mallika told, "That's true. Jackie Chan is the one who instilled such kind of confidence in me. He is the guy responsible for making me travel to Hollywood and keep working so far away from him. Also, he has the kind of forward thinking attitude which is infectious. In fact I met him at Cannes a few months back and it was great connecting all over again. Now I am all the more sure that I like competing with the rest of the world. As an actor it is important to challenge myself."

Sonam Kapoor feels being a star kid is very difficult as there is a lot of pressure to perform well. It is not all that rosy as it seems, tells Sonam. But, the actor is very proud of her dad and that she is his daughter.

"It is much easier in the industry for a star kid, but everyone has their own struggle. It is easier to join (the industry) and people look at you differently, but then they also come with their own baggage of comparisons," Sonam said in an interview.
