Shahrukh Khan has started shooting for his forthcoming film 'Happy New Year' in Dubai, mere weeks after celebrating the huge success of his last film 'Chennai Express'.
According to a website, the Bollywood star landed in the city at 11.15am to be on the set of the film, which is a UAE project led by his director-friend Farah Khan.
The publication asserted that the actor will spend all of September filming the Dubai-based tale.
Farah also took to Twitter to announce the start of the filming with a picture of the clapboard with Scene 1, Happy New Year, adding, that she was thankful for all the good wishes and positive energy.
The upcoming film will also star Shahrukh's former 'Om Shanti Om' co-star Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, who will join the crew by Sunday evening.
