Freshly, we had reported that Shirish Kunder was asked to leave Sajid Nadiawala's Kick, reason being, his recent film Joker being a fiasco at the box office. However, putting rest to all rumors, Salman Khan at last speaks up on Twitter.
Salman tells, Sirish himself opted out of 'Kick' and was not asked to leave the project, as a rumor has it.
"No that's nt true . shirish left the film . He is working on sm thing else. Ho gaya clear ? Good ! Challo bye . Take care guys n nice," Salman posted on the micro-blogging site.
If Shirish would direct the movie, Kick would have been Salman's second film with him, the first being Jaaneman in 2006. Also, Tees Maar Khan which was produced by Kunder had Sallu do a special appearance.
On Friday, Kunder himself broke the news about his exit from the film.
"Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing KICK. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life," Shirish Kunder wrote.
The film will now be directed and produced by Sajid Nadiawala under his own banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
